JAPAN’S ANIMALS NEED HELP, TOO!

For each person who ‘likes’ the Facebook Page of Dog Bless You, a dollar will be donated to help finance the use of search and rescue dogs that are so critical in disaster situations like what’s happening in Japan right now. You can also donate to Animal Refuge Kansai, the American Humane Association, The National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, or World Vets. Japan Cat Network, together with Heart Tokushima and Animal Friends Niigata has formed Japan Animal Rescue and Support.

It was thought that Cat Island had been completely submerged, but there’s been an update saying that the cats and people on Tashirojima are okay, however, they have a lot of building damage and are in need of necessities for both humans and cats.

I was on the bus today to get ready to pick up the girlfriend from the hospital. Then I noticed a man that sat right across from me. As the buses made its stops. The bus started to fill up more and more until it was really full. But even through the crowd, I could see that no one wanted to sit with him. Was it that he looked weird? Was it that his arms were slanted weirdly? Was it that his eyes were different? I look as no one had sat beside him when there were clearly two spots beside him. So I got up literally pushed aside people to sit right next to him and sit there while I listened to my IPod. Something about him made me realize that the more different you are, the more you get judged, the more you get these weird looks. Being on that bus alone made me realize, it takes one person to make someones day. I felt his smile when I got off the bus. I loved the fact that I could do that to just one person. He’s handicap. So what. He ain’t perfect, and none of yall can judge him. Cause some of yall are fat, some of yall have mad pimples, some of yall..wait EVERYONE has many things about them that they don’t like. Don’t act like you’re perfect. Act like you’re human. That’s it.

Thank you for posting this!!!!!I dont repost or post in general all that much.I am way more of a lurker!But I just couldnt pass this one by!!!!I am disabled, in a wheelchair and have to say……….I do pretty good for myself, I am 29, I have my own place, social life, 4 cats and a job. As normal as I try and live my life there will always be the people that stare and stay away like I have something they will catch!!I do my damndest not to let things let this bother me, but sometimes you cant help how you feel. Again thank you for being you, tonight I go to bed smiling
